In 1996, after ten years of bass fishing, I began fishing exclusively on Florida’s East Coast. Relentlessly, every weekend I take my 19 foot Key West center console out and in search of the excitement of catching the big one. Not every trip is was success but along the way I have managed to catch some nice fish and learn a lot of the skills that it takes to hunt them down, bring them in and in most cases release them unharmed.
I have alway prefered fishing at night to fishing in the daytime. Night fishing presents it’s own particular challanges along with the benifits of tranquility not always experienced by daytime anglers.
This site contains saltwater fishing information, reports and fishing photos with pictures of giant redfish from the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River on the east coast of Florida. The fishing reports are contained in my journal.
